Historic center of Brno can be rightfully proud of number of its historic sights especially religious ones. See the church of Saint Thomas with painting of black Madonna that emperor Charles the 4th donated during the dedication, Basilica of Ascention of Virgin Mary, Augustian Monastery – jewel of Moravian Gothic architecture, where father of genetics science Jan Gregor Mendel served as abbot, the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, St. Thomas Church, Dietrichstein Palace and many others. Our last stop will be Spilberk Castle that used to serve as a fortress with an infamous prison and from where there is a beautiful view of Brno's panorama.

This trip will initially take you to the protected landscape Area of Moravian Karst, full of ravines and stalactical caves which are visited by many tourists. The most famous and breathtaking are Macocha gorge and Pukva caves. There is a labyrinth of underground paths created by submerged river Punkva. You will have a chance to see the deepest open gorge in Czech Republic with two small lakes at its bottom. Then you enjoy underground boat trip on the Punkva river where various shapes of stalactites and stalagmites will take you breath away. To make this trip full of great experiences we will move between Macocha gorge and Punkva caves using aerial cableway and eco-train. Lunch in hotel Mountain Mill. Second half of our trip will take us to Chateau Slavkov famous for its “Battle of Three Emperors” - Slavkov Battle that happened in 2/12/1805. Victorious Napoleon spent the following night there. Historic Hall of the chateau witnessed signing of the armistice treaty between Napoleon, Austrian Emperor Francis 1st and Russian Czar Alexander II. Chateau Slavkov is constructed as three-winged building complex. It has an important place in history of Central European art for its architectonic value and artful execution of works. It was created during Baroque period based on project of Domenico Martinelly from Luca. You will see representative areas of Kaunic residence. Hall of Predecessors full of portraits of the most significant chateau's past owners, Rubens Hall with copies of Rubens' large canvases, Chapel of Holy Cross and small Spiritual Parlor. Before the end we visit “Peace Mound” - Art Noveau memorial built in 1912 as a memento of all wars.
Visit to the Gardens and Castle at Kroměříž – UNESCO site

Town of Kroměříž is positioned in a wonderful landscape Haná. Town is exceptionally rich when it comes to historic sites and it is traditional residence of Olomouc Bishops. Complex of historic gardens and Archbishop's Castle is a National Cultural Monument of Czech Republic and since December 1998 belongs among UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Kroměříž is a venue for numerous yearly festivals, fairs, conferences, symposium and congresses. Castle Kroměříž was reconstructed by Lichtenstein family into todays Baroque form. Inside the castle number of lavishly equipped interiors were created. Among exceptionally well preserved collections of great European importance are gallery where works of P. Veronese, L. Cranach, A. Van Dyke and others can be admired. There is also library with 8600 fascicles, rich music archive and numismatic collection. Bishop Karel II. Lichtenstein from Katelkorn and architect Filibert Luchese created Flower Garden which is truly unique because of its flower arrangements and overall architecture.
